Rupert is a registered nurse with over 14 years of experience. Originally from the Philippines, he moved to Dunedin in 2018. He has worked in various healthcare settings (both in New Zealand and the Philippines) including medical, surgical, aged care, aesthetics, and community.
He is also a Practice Nurse/Nurse Prescriber at the University of Otago Student Health Services, with Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology, Appearance Medicine, Adolescent Health, and Gender-diverse Healthcare.
He is currently pursuing his master’s degree towards becoming a Nurse Practitioner and he would like to specialise in the field of dermatology.
His passion is to help promote healthy skin across the lifespan and help people be more comfortable and confident with their skin and appearance.
