Knowing your race day fashion themes
“Make sure you’ve scrubbed up on the different race day fashion themes. Derby Day is traditionally monochrome as the dress code is strictly black, white, both black and white, and men can wear tailored greys. Melbourne Cup – the race that stops the nation, is the biggest day of New Zealand’s Spring Racing calendar and is all about bright, bold pops of colour and standout headwear. Oaks Day otherwise known as Ladies Day, is all about spring colours and femininity — think pastels, floral and lace.” – Melissa
